The Swedish National Council on Medical Ethics works at present on a report on somatic and heritable genediting, that will be published later this year. Within the project on Genetic integrity 2.0 the council works on several topics besides genediting. For example; DNA in criminal investigations, health data, genetic screening and precision-medicine.
The council also works with questions concerning selective fetal-reduction in late pregnancy and questions related to the ongoing pandemic.
